Want to write faster & better? Don’t be like Knights

A few hundred years ago, knights ruled the battlefield.

They were the gods of war.

But then, tech happened.

First came the crossbow, then the longbow (those things pierced armor like a hot knife through butter).

Soon after, guns entered the scene, and knights became obsolete.

For kings, knights went from invaluable to liabilities.

Too expensive to maintain, too easily defeated.

The truth is, technology doesn’t care about ‘What’s working now’.

It destroys what came before with no remorse.

Today, entrepreneurs, face a similar situation with AI entering the scene.

But Here’s The Good News…

Crossbow can’t fire itself, and AI can’t create by itself.

That’s still human territory.

Because as long as people have problems, those who solve them the fastest will remain in demand.

So if AI can help you solve problems faster, why not use it?

Resisting AI is a losing battle anyway.

In 1346, no one succeeded in banning crossbows or longbows. And no one will ban AI—not even Elon Musk.

Instead of resisting, we should embrace AI as a tool to help ourselves and others

But here’s where most people go wrong:

  • Some treat AI like a God, outsourcing all their thinking with prompts like, “Write a post about X.” The result? Generic, boring content that no one wants to read.
  • Others dismiss AI entirely, thinking it’s just a soulless parroting machine.

But The truth lies in the middle.

AI is neither a God nor a stupid parroting machine. It’s a very smart personal assistant.

It’s like Jarvis from the movie ‘Iron Man’ a smart personal assistant to help you brainstorm, refine, and create faster.

Remember, crossbows didn’t replace knights, people who mastered crossbows did.

AI won’t replace you either. But people who learn to use it effectively?

They will.

Which is why in this post I’d like to share with you how I use AI to help me write faster

The 4-Step Process for Ethical AI Content Creation

Step 1: Brain Dump

Set a timer for 10 minutes and write down everything that comes to mind about your topic. No filtering. No judgment. Just let your thoughts flow. This step ensures the core ideas come from you.

Step 2: Refinement

Paste your brain dump into GPT and ask it to proofread and improve the flow. This transforms your messy thoughts into a first draft, helping you overcome blank page syndrome.

Step 3: Feedback

Read the draft and identify what doesn’t feel right. Make a list of changes you want. Remember, AI is only as helpful as your instructions. Treat it like an assistant, not your boss.

Step 4: The Pub Test

Step away for a few hours. Then, read the piece out loud. Ask yourself, “Would I say this to a friend at a pub?” If not, tweak it until it feels like you.

And there you have it—that’s how you use AI to create faster without losing your voice.

The key is to think of yourself as Tony Stark.

You’re the one solving problems.

AI is just your Jarvis, helping you do it better and faster.

Use it wisely, and you’ll stay ahead of the game.

That’s all for today.
